I'm not sure I get it?  Bill Frist puts forth a GOP plan to give everyone a $100 gas rebate check...did somebody just pull that number out of thin air or something?  For my family, that would amount to maybe 40% of what we spend on gas EVERY MONTH.  How is a one-time $100 rebate suppose to help anyone?  Seriously!  Maybe we should just look at it as an attempted bribe, or something?  The worst part is they've come up with a dumb idea because in an election year they're under pressure to look like they care, but then they came up with a plan that makes them look even more out of touch with what most American's are going through than if they proposed nothing at all!
